Is the refuge walk required?
No. The refuge walk is optional and depends on weather, park access, altitude tolerance and your physical condition. Limpiopungo and scenic stops offer an excellent alternative.

What should I wear?
Bring warm layers, a waterproof and windproof jacket, comfortable walking shoes, sun protection and a hat. Conditions can change quickly.
